Ryan Reynolds makes for the ideal Wade Wilson, Deadpool was the flawless way to introduce the character on the big screen properly (we're still trying to forget X-Men: Origins - Wolverine) and the movie was a total crowd-pleaser that absolutely dominated at the box office. Seriously, is there anything Ryan Reynolds won't do?

There certainly is a lot of pressure put on the sequel to the 2016 box-office hit, "Deadpool". Nothing is taken seriously...except for the stuff that is.

Deadpool 2 premieres in theaters on May 18th. Speaking with Entertainment Weekly, the actor said Goddard's take on Deadpool becoming a team player is a fun one he can't wait to explore on set. A couple of times I found myself anticipating a punchline during a gut-wrenching moment, or still digesting a sad moment as a silly one came along to interrupt it.

The audience reacted exactly how you might expect a group of Millennials to react when someone they assumed would be a domestic celebrity reveals himself to be Canadian and worldwide icon Ryan Reynolds. This is the part of the movie that has the most spoilers, so see this movie before social media ruins it. And he kinda can't be that.

"I don't know that there would be a Deadpool 3". And... don't even get me started on the X-Force and Peter.

In case you are unfamiliar, Korean variety shows can get pretty insane and have premises that might seem a little odd to North Americans who don't venture too far out of the mainstream.

For Mother's Day, we get a look at three movies that don't exactly scream "Hey mom, we love you!"

I also have to say the action sequences feel much less special than they did in Deadpool. Are you walking into the same kind of costumed glut that threatened to turn the most recent Avengers film into Infinite War on Character Development?

The first reviews are in for the superhero movie, and they have called it a huge improvement from the original. There's nothing like the slow-motion SUV fight opening, nor the bridge shootout right afterward.

This is not to say you won't find stuff to enjoy. Now the sequel Deadpool 2 is touted to be bigger and better than the first. Beetz crushes the action here and gets featured in what is no doubt the single greatest piece of cinematography in the entire film in which the camera pans around her character as cars crash and trucks flip over to avoid her, although the shot itself is a bit marred by some rough CGI. Other characters you liked from the last film resurface, too, including Vanessa (Morena Baccarin), Colossus (Stefan Kapicic) and Dopinder the cab driver (Karan Soni). If the X- films are going to stand out from the MCU, keeping their edge is what they'll need to do.

After surviving a near fatal bovine attack, a disfigured cafeteria chef (Wade Wilson) struggles to fulfill his dream of becoming Mayberry's hottest bartender while also learning to cope with his lost sense of taste. When asked again about the possibility of a threequel by Variety, Reynolds sounded a lot more hopeful. DP2 is more of the same humor but in a bigger, more franchise-friendly package.
