Visitors to Walt Disney World in Orlando, Fla., were treated to an unexpected show when a float in the Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom burst into flames on Friday. Photos and videos taken by park visitors show the contraption's upper portion bobbing up and down, engulfed in flames.

Park officials ushered people away from the parade float as an employee used a fire extinguisher to put out the fire.

The Maleficent float is damaged from the incident, though it is unclear if or how this will affect the daily operation of the "Festival of Fantasy" parade in Magic Kingdom.

According to witnesses who recorded video and took pictures of the scene, the head of the dragon caught fire.
