Claude Puel still has big injury worries to contend with as Matty James, Wilfred Ndidi, Daniel Amartey, Ben Chilwell, Robert Huth, Shinji Okazaki and Kasper Schmeichel are all missing through injury while Mark Albrighton is suspended.

Mauricio Pochettino has reflected on how Tottenham turned "all the negativity into a positive" during a season spent away from home. It was one point from five games before Wednesday's win over Arsenal; knives have already been sharpened.

But speaking to Spanish radio station El Transistor after the win over Newcastle, Pochettino was straight-faced in his answers about his future and insisted that Tottenham had enjoyed a good season, despite the lack of silverware.

However, forward Kelechi Iheanacho says he is excited by the prospect of playing at Wembley, with quotes that go some way to illustrating the additional fillip that many of Tottenham's opponents have had this season.

"Next season, it will be fantastic for Tottenham to be playing in a new stadium and in the Champions League". We deserve it. We've worked so hard to be at this level again. We showed that we could find solutions.

"I think Juan Foyth deserves to play and he is doing fantastic, and I will repeat that, so maybe, I am thinking, maybe it is not insane to see a player like him or Kyle Walker-Peters in the starting XI". "Another is what we are doing, to create players, like in the case of Harry Kane, Dele Alli", he said.

Washington Capitals Win Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals
The Capitals are 5-1 in their last 6 Conference Finals games, 2-5 in their last 7 Sunday games and 21-7 in their last 28 overall. I think if you bottled up all the bad things in those first 10 games, it would be half of what we did in one game last night.

Wenger: European Super League is "inevitable"
After managing the best club in Italy, Allegri wants to win the Premier League in England with a club that can deliver him quick success.

"They had a lot of the ball but we had good chances, and that was our gameplan - sit in, soak up the pressure and try and catch them on the break, and I think we did that a few times".

Leicester have not completed a league double over Tottenham since the 1998-99 campaign. It's a big game for them, big stadium for them.

"After four years we never celebrate".

Tottenham beat Los Blancos at Wembley in the group stages of this year's competition, before bowing out to Juventus in the last 16.

Against no side has Harry Kane scored more Premier League goals than he has versus Leicester City (9, level with Stoke).

Of all teams they've faced at least 10 times at home in the Premier League, only against Chelsea (19%) and Man Utd (23 per cent) do Spurs have a lower win rate than they do against Leicester (36 per cent - won 4/11).

Pochettino also is delighting fans by his acknowledgement that Spurs are the top team in London.
