Earlier, Russia expressed "deep disappointment at the decision by trump" on the United States withdrawal from the Iranian nuclear deal.

Israel's hawkish Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has been in Moscow, where he met Russian President Vladimir Putin.

"It is very important to ensure the compliance with this agreement".

The landmark nuclear pact was signed in 2015 by Iran and the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council (Britain, China, France, Russia, and the United States) plus the European Union (EU) and Germany. "We urge all sides to remain committed to its full implementation and to act in a spirit of responsibility".

Ryabkov's comments came two days after Trump declared that his country was pulling out of the JCPOA, saying Washington would not only reinstate the anti-Iran sanctions lifted as part of the deal, but would also "be instituting the highest level of economic" bans against the Islamic Republic. Collectively, they could have exerted far greater influence on Iran to modify the deal and mitigate the US' and regional allies' concerns. Iran must continue to meet its own obligations under the deal, cooperating fully and in a timely manner with IAEA inspection requirements, they reiterated.

First, most observers agree that Iran would resume its nuclear weapons program, which could quickly lead to the proliferation of nuclear weapons in the Middle East. A long-term framework for Iran's nuclear programme after some of the provisions of the JCPOA expire, after 2025, will have to be defined.

USA allies in the region - Israel, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain - welcomed the move. "As we have throughout this process, we'll continue to follow the U.S. Government's lead", Gordon Johndroe, VP of Boeing's Government Operations Communications, told Gizmodo.

"As of today, the IAEA can confirm that the nuclear-related commitments are being implemented by Iran", he said, adding that the IAEA was "closely monitoring developments" related to the deal.

"Iran must not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons".

As Radio Farda recalls, Putin has given even Barack Obama a hard time about discussing "American exceptionalism", even though Obama's view of the subject was famously nuanced.
