Haye says he is ready to drag the fight back into deep waters, while his foe laughed off the claim, insisting he is by far the better boxer and there was a shove at the final press conference.

Stephen Mault, Betfair's marketing director, said: "We are looking to increase our footprint within boxing and David's character and reputation as one of the best heavy/cruiserweights to ever fight made him the flawless candidate".

The fight is a rematch of last year's epic contest which Bellew won via TKO in the 11th round in March 2017.

The former WBC Cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew weighed-in at 15st 3lbs, whereas David Haye came in nearly a stone heavier at 16st 9oz. This time around it may not be as controversial.

This time, with so much riding on the outcome, in addition to wanting to prove that the first fight was a fluke, one must believe Haye will bring his A-game, or at least what remains of it. Then step it up.

Haye, on the other hand, will look to land a "money shot" and with his weight and reach advantage, he will certainly be unsafe in the early rounds. "I will give you the performance a lot of people expected first time around". Is this a confident Haye who is prepared to take Bellew out and move on with his career, or is there a mixed message?

"I just want to punch him". He would love nothing more than to knock every tooth out of my mouth, don't be fooled, the mask comes off on Saturday.

Campbell's appearance on the Bellew-Haye II card in London will be flanked by a whole host of talent.

"And I can tell you that Haye is still a smarmy, arrogant cocky s**** who I will stop again".

The Londoner has adopted a more measured and respectful approach this time around as he attempts to revive his career in this Saturday's rematch. "What matters is that you end on Saturday night".
