Vinyl shops prepare for Record Store Day

New and old aficionados of records and turntables are sure to be found lining up outside of places like Vinyl Revival in Lansdowne for Record Store Day, a nationally celebrated day that celebrates businesses who sell the '78s, 7-inch singles and everything in between and the people who help boost these businesses and contribute to a growing resurgence in the format. Though the store has participated each year in Record Store Day, Gederberg said this year will be the biggest with more than 150 exclusive vinyl releases. "I play music, so whenever I make a trip I look for antique stores or any store that might have records". The day is going to be packed with specials, events and giveaways, with a secret special guest to be announced the day of.
