Ubisoft Hints Watch Dogs 3 is in Development

It has received two games so far this generation and a new report points toward the third game in the series being in development.

Sam is just the latest in several coincidental titbits about Watch Dogs 3.

The publisher has already confirmed that Tom Clancy's The Division 2 will be at the show, and it wouldn't be too insane to think Watch Dogs 3 might show up. Ubisoft's AI assistant, Sam is the company's take on Siri and Alexa.

Nonetheless, Sam's reply to queries about Watch Dogs 3 reveal the game's existence.

Watch Dogs 3 is not finished yet, but from the last early build I tried it's very solid. The development team is doing wonders! (Nome of which could actually be read, of course.) There was also a tweet that appeared briefly on the official Watch Dogs account stating, cryptically, "This is everything", which PlayStation Universe suggested could be the beginning of a viral marketing campaign. Can't wait for you to try it!'

Could Watch Dogs 3 be on the cards then?

With its tech-savvy take on the 21st Century, Watch Dogs was a wholly unique premise when it first hit consoles in 2014 and broke Ubisoft records around the globe. Firstly, Ubisoft issued an April Fools' Day prank that allowed gamers to "hack" into their Uplay platform (Watch Dogs is an action-adventure game based on hackers and hacking activities).
