Twitter Goes Down Temporarily Due to Technical Snag

Social networking platform Twitter crashed on Tuesday evening, creating problem for its users.

Twitter is down and by the looks of it, the outage is massive this time, spanning major countries around the world. Users around the world reported that the website went offline on Monday.

DownDetector, an independent website that tracks outages via mentions across the social media, shows a huge number of users reporting problems accessing the service.

The micro-blogging site, when opened, said "Something is technically wrong". Several people on Twitter on Tuesday reported issues that made it nearly impossible to load profile or even refresh the timeline. Every time you try to refresh your Twitter timeline through mobile app, you will notice that the page isn't refreshing and the app keeps showing the error message.
