Monster Hunter World is now available for PS4 and Xbox One.

Monster Hunter: World is getting a new limited-time quest called Siege of Kulve Taroth that will send all hunters in the same Gathering Hub-up to 16 in total-on a raid-flavored quest to track down a mighty new Elder Dragon named Kulve Taroth. And seems to be as large as Xeno'jiiva. Players should be on the lookout for a special delivery request after taking on their first Kulve Taroth Siege. It will appear as part of a limited time Kulve Taroth Siege event. The parties will divide into groups of up to four but their collective efforts are needed to investigate and hunt the Elder Dragon down. The sixteen hunters will split off into teams of four, but will all be working together to achieve a common goal.

Below you can check out a trailer showing Kulve Taroth in action, and screenshots showcasing the armor and weapons you can craft with the materials it'll drop. You can join up within an online session or a dedicated Kulve Taroth lobby. We don't have much information on when and where Kulve Taroth has amassed all these relics, so the nature and quality of these weapons (read: type and stats) are entirely up to fate. Judging by the video you can clearly see that Kulve Taroth is huge, fierce and covered in gold armor.
