Met Éireann forecasts some sunny weather at last and launches new website

Met Eireann is warning that south to southeast winds will reach mean speeds between 50 and 65km/h with gusts between 80 and 110km/h.

They state that there will be "rainfall accumulations of 25 to 40mm expected over the period, with the potential for higher amounts on hills and mountains".

Met Éireann says there could be up to 50mm of rainwall in places with a risk of localised flooding.

The warning is in place until Tuesday at 11am but don't be surprised if it gets pushed out even further or if an upgraded warning is given also. This warning is valid until 11am. The warning is in place until 6am tomorrow.

Wednesday starts with cloudy and misty at first tomorrow, with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, but becoming drier from the south by late morning.
