Man, woman attack 2 police officers in Portage

The owner of the auto told officers the vehicle was equipped with a smart system.

A 44-year-old man who threatened a former police officer will be charged on Wednesday (Apr 18) for criminal intimidation and for acting as a member of an unlawful society.

The victim's 9-year-old daughter was in the back seat but was able to get out of the auto safely before the suspect left the parking lot.

Two people are facing felony charges after "viciously" attacking two Portage Police Officers, according to a post on the Portage Police Department's Facebook page.

He was assisted by Officer Brian Starnes, the press release said.
