"He said to me, 'Don't worry, Mom, there was no penile penetration,"' Gianna Constand testified. His ruling will depend on whether Constand testified that she knew Jackson.

Andrea Constand, plaintiff for the Bill Cosby trial, arrives at the Montgomery County Courthouse for the sixth day of his sexual assault retrial on April 16, 2018, in Norristown, Penn.

Cosby has repeatedly denied the accusations, saying any sexual contact was consensual.

Cosby said he never took the drug, instead giving it to women he wanted to have sex with.

Bill Cosby's lawyers have changed the way they talk about his chief accuser and her relationship with him.

Constand's mother followed her on the witness stand and bolstered her account, testifying about a phone conversation she said she had with the comedian about a year after the alleged assault in which he described in graphic detail their sexual account and then apologized. "He proceeded to tell me what he did to her sexually".

She said she was "very combative" with Cosby, demanding he tell her the medication he'd given her daughter and what he'd done to her. "Because he told me", she responded, through tears.

Constand denied setting Cosby up.

The defense plans to call Jackson as a witness and says she will testify that Constand mused about framing a celebrity before she lodged sexual abuse allegations against Cosby in 2005.

"This isn't about money, Ms. Bliss", the mother said.

Cosby is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent assault for the alleged sex attack, and faces up to 10 years behind bars on each count.

"Were you able to verbalize and tell him to stop?" prosecutor Kristen Feden asked Constand.

More bodies found in Eel River Search in Mendocino County
The bodies were recovered on Sunday inside the vehicle, a Honda Pilot, which was recovered from about 4-6 feet of the Eel River. Authorities, who originally had said the body was a child's, anticipate that an autopsy will be performed early next week.

Constand replied, "Her name sounds familiar, but I don't really remember her. ..."

"I said to him only a sick man would do that". I was trying to get my hands to move, my legs to move and the message just wasn't getting there.

Constand said prior to the alleged assault, she had considered Cosby a mentor from whom she sought career advice.

In a cringe-worthy moment earlier Monday, the cellphone of lead defense counsel Tom Mesereau went off as he grilled Constand, drawing a menacing look from the judge - who orders that all phones be powered off in the courtroom.

During cross examination Friday, the trial lawyer had Constand flustered with questions about whether she'd ever said she was affectionate toward Cosby.

First trial: The defence didn't ask Constand about emails she had sent that promised big returns for a risk-free $65 investment - what the defence at the second trial has called a "Ponzi scheme".

Constand was the director of women's basketball operations at Temple University in Philadelphia when she met Cosby, a powerful alumnus and member of the board of trustees. "I was glad it was over", she said.

The lawyer also questioned Constand about her job at Temple and whether she had complained about the pay and tried to make additional money through other sources. The defence has called the other accusers irrelevant to the case.

The Associated Press does not typically identify people who say they are victims of sexual assault unless they grant permission, which Constand has done.

"You have a witness on the stand right now who has changed her testimony, who has been impeached on the witness stand, at least, over six times", said Cosby spokesman Andrew Wyatt.

Cosby's defense attorneys have worked to point out inconsistencies in their stories.

Heidi Thomas, Chelan Lasha, Janice Baker-Kinney and Lise-Lotte Lublin each testified last week that Cosby incapacitated them with drugs or wine and then assaulted them in separate incidents decades ago.
