Last month there was a TENAA (China's equivalent of the FCC) listing which was believed to be the Mi 6X.

The buzz around the Mi 6X is fairly high, given that fact that the handset will be pitched as a mid-end smartphone. Among details that were revealed by the files are the specs of the phone which will be announced on 25 April.

The handset features a dual camera setup at the back with a f/1.75 aperture 12MP primary sensor and a f/1.75 aperture 20MP secondary sensor. Being a gaming phone, it is backed by a massive 4,000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support.

The phone has Android Oreo, topped with JOY UI, which is a custom launcher that shares some of its apps with Xiaomi's MIUI.

For imaging, there are dual camera setup 12 MP f/1.75 + 20 MP f/1.75 with 6P lens and a dual-LED flash with pixel size of 1.25 µm and 1 µm pixels on the back side of the phone.

The Xiaomi Mi A2 will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 clocked at a maximum 2.0GHz rather than the standard 2.2GHz. The phone will be 7.3mm thick and 165mm tall. You get a 5.99-inch 2160×1080 IPS LCD in that trendy 18:9 aspect ratio, and presumably at 60Hz - not matching the buttery-smooth 120Hz of the Razer Phone.
