Kompany watched Manchester United's shocking 1-0 defeat to West Brom, which handed City the title on Sunday, with his wife Carla at her United-supporting father's home before broadcasting his celebrations live on social media.

"It's the same feeling as the first time, you can't describe it", Kompany told Sky Sports.

Kompany was joined by Bernardo Silva, John Stones, Fabian Delph and Kyle Walker joined the skipper at a packed Hale Wine Bar, where the players were seen belting out Oasis' Wonderwall and being serenaded by supporters expressing their delight and gratitude. I've been lucky to win three but so many I've missed as well.

"It's been a fucking long journey... especially if you've been a blue for more than forty years in your heart! The previous ones we almost threw it away, I've seen many teams win it as champions for the whole season but in our case it's the first time".

"Just one more time, come on City!"

"You can't take it for granted", Kompany said.

As for Spurs, boss Mauricio Pochettino has made a total of four alterations to his team, with the most notable switch seeing Erik Lamela replace Son Heung-min.

Officials warn of severe thunderstorms Sunday night
Weather radios, cell phone alerts, and broadcast media outlets, like News 3, help alert people when a tornado is in the area. Another (stronger) front arrives over the weekend with widespread rain and another chance for severe weather.

Manchester United vs West Brom preview
It would take a change in fortunes akin to Manchester City not winning the league for West Brom to stay up. City captain Vincent Kompany said: "It's the same feeling as the first time and you can't describe it".

Republicans need more Paul Ryans
This morning Speaker Ryan shared with his colleagues that this will be his a year ago as a member of the House. Ryan didn't talk about his future plans, although some have speculated that he may run for President in 2020.

City though have never successfully defended a league title and Kompany is hoping he can help build a dynasty at the Etihad.

"You can't take it for granted".

"We responded well - it looked like it could be a similar kind of story when we conceded a goal on the one chance they had and then we were solid, and I'm really happy with that".

And he led Bayern Munich to Bundesliga glory in each of his three years at the Allianz Arena.

"I think we share one thing maybe, the hunger and desire to never be satisfied", said Kompany.

"Any player who has played under him has had success because of him and because of the way he has improved them as individuals and enabled them to unlock their full potential". I think there was a period of adaptation that was needed, for him and us.

Asked how it felt to be part of another title-winning squad, he added: "Yeah, its special, I'm privileged to be part of such a great group, great players, good guys, good mentality, good atmosphere in the team, every single time I'm on the pitch I enjoy it".
