Fake makeup contaminated with human feces

Officials investigating $700,000 of counterfeit cosmetics seized from 21 stalls at a Los Angeles shopping market last week reportedly found high levels of bacteria and traces of animal feces and urine in the makeup. Bogus Urban Decay, NARS, MAC, Kylie Cosmetics by Kylie Jenner and Too Faced are among the cosmetic brands sold at the fabricating stores. The investigation was initiated after customers called the actual cosmetic companies with complaints about rashes and bumps caused by the products. When their lab tested the contents, they discovered the products were full of shit - figuratively and literally.

Capt. Reina ended his tweet with "The best price is not always the best deal!" He explained this kind of contamination simply wouldn't happen with legitimate products because they're manufactured in proper facilities that adhere to safety standards. The products look nearly identical to high-quality eyeshadow, lipstick, and mascara but, authorities say, their prices should have raised eyebrows.
