Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Announced In India

With the new Galaxy J7 Duo that boasts a dual-lens camera on the back and the latest Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box, Samsung hopes to capture even more consumers whose heads might have been turned by the likes of Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Vivo V9, Honor 9 Lite, among others - all of which have dual-lens cameras.

In short, Galaxy Note 9 will have a basically identical screen, a more capable battery and probably the 845 Snapdragon, more efficient in energy saving.

There are some reports that Samsung may push the envelope for the Galaxy Note 9 and opt for an in-screen fingerprint scanner as well, but, we'll have to wait and watch out on that one. It could be the latest Samsung smartphone after the Galaxy J7 Duo launch in India. The recent leaks came from the tipster Ice universe claiming that Galaxy Note 9 could have the massive power backup of 4000 mAh or 3,850 mAh, the leak was published on Twitter account of the website.

Galaxy J7 Duo has a dual-camera setup which was not previously seen in the Galaxy J Series. The Note 9 is rumoured to feature 6GB RAM with 64GB or 256GB storage. While one of the 12-megapixel (Dual Pixel) sensor has an f/1.7 aperture and optical image stabilisation, the second 12-megapixel sensor comes with an f/2.4 aperture and optical image stabilisation to allow for up to 2X optical zoom. It could be made available in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple colour options. Running Android 7.1.1 Nougat with TouchWiz UX on top, the smartphone is expected to receive the Android Oreo update soon. Connectivity features include 4G with VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Global Positioning System.

Powered by an overclocked 2.8 GHz Exynos 9810 chipset, which makes it faster than any of Samsung's current flagships. The single-core performance score of Galaxy Note 9 is 2190, while its multi-core performance score is 8806.
