Early on Monday morning, the Na Na singer surrendered himself to the Los Angeles Police Department over a felony domestic violence charge.

Trey is being accused of choking and punching a lady named Andrea Buera (pictured below) at a Hollywood Hills party last month around the All-Star weekend but the singer maintains that he is "being lied on and falsely accused for someone's personal gain".

Today, Songz turned himself into the police whilst accompanied by his lawyer Shawn Holley, and was released following a payment of $50,000 bond. She claims her and Songz had been friends and "occasional romantic partners" for the past few years and said he was upset after seeing her talking to another man.

The arrest stems from an alleged incident at a party in Hollywood on February 18, during which Songz allegedly hit a woman. "Several people were present and no one helped her", according to the Los Angeles Times.

Huh. As for Trey's attorney, it's said she's ready to fight the alleged "inconsistencies" in Andrea's allegation and there are supposed witnesses who will refute Buera's claim.

"I was crying, terrified, in shock and I just wanted to go home", she added.

"I tried defending myself by hitting his hand off of my neck but when I got out of the choke hold, he then started punching me in the face", she said in the petition for the restraining order.
