It's been reported that former National Basketball Association player Glen "Big Baby" Davis was arrested last month in Maryland on drug possession and distribution charges.

The heart of the matter.

Davis, who played for the Celtics from 2007-2011 and was a rookie when the Celtics won the championship in 2008, last played for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2015. Davis was staying in room number 208 of the Hampton Inn in Aberdeen. When the owner knocked on the door, the person inside told him to "fu- off", according to the report.

"They recovered 126 grams of marijuana", Aberdeen Police Lt. William Reiber told WMAR. The proprietor of the building followed his nose to Room 208, at which point the police were called upon. A signed consent was given by Davis to search his room.

Police reportedly found 126 grams of marijuana, $92,164 and a ledger that appeared consistent with someone involved in selling narcotics.

The ledger was of the names of people who owned money along with baggies for individual packaging of a quarter pound of marijuana.

Hard to imagine an National Basketball Association post-playing career coming to this but Glen "Big Baby" Davis has reportedly been busted for selling mass quantities of marijuana out of a hotel room.
