IPhone SE 2 caught on video with iPhone X-like design

Rumors have it that the Cupertino company is working on a second-generation iPhone SE that will be coming to replace the original model that was launched in 2016. Apple has never introduced a new handset at the event since 2010. Maybe it might even be the iPhone X2? If rumours are to be believed, the iPhone SE 2 could come with the A11 Bionic chip that powers the iPhone 8 and iPhone X. The phone is said to come with 2GB of RAM/32GB of storage, expandable up to 128GB. The South Korean tech monster had declared a battery assurance of 95% limit following two years of utilization.

Apple Insider calls this video "highly questionable", partly because the TrueDepth sensor and other hardware up front that would necessitate a notch would make this iPhone SE 2 too expensive for the masses.

The phone in the video has an iPhone X-like bezel-less design complete with the notch at the top of the display, although the notch is somewhat bigger than on the iPhone X.

A person on the Chinese website Weibo has leaked a video showing what the person says is the iPhone SE 2. 3D Touch would also be missing on this cheapest handset. It is unlikely to come with flagship specs that are available on the iPhone X, the first OLED smartphone from Apple. In 2018, it could be the smaller phone that's the more desirable.

Besides the basic specs, what else will Apple be adding to the iPhone 9 phones?

Is wireless charging bad for the battery?

The cameras on the back of the iPhone 9 handsets will no doubt get a lot of attention again.

Take a look below! Keep an eye on Apple's developer conference, WWDC, which is running from 4-8 June - plenty of iOS 12 announcements are likely to be made there. However, a new video suggests a completely weird theory - the new SE version would have similar styling as the iPhone X.

With the whole of Apple's iPhone line set to adopt the bezel-free, notch design, we might well see further improvements to Face ID unlocking and the Animoji tricks that Apple debuted previous year.
