Police confirm 25 killed in central Nigeria attack

Meanwhile, seven people were killed and one injured in an attack on Hirshi, a village in Bassa Local Government of Plateau, Maj.

Those killed in the attack are 19 men, three women and three children.

The development was confirmed by the Special Task Force providing security in Plateau State, the Plateau State Police Command and the Irigwe Development Association.

No fewer than 25 persons have been killed by suspected herdsmen in another attack in Plateau State.
