The Bring Back Our Girls Group BBOG have threatened to take legal actions against the Federal Government if after seven days it does not rescue students of the Government Technical College, Dapchi, who were abducted recently by suspected Boko Haram terrorists.

The President who arrived in Damaturu, the state capital on Wednesday was received by the state governor, Mr Ibrahim Gaidam, and other top government officials.

On 19 February, 110 school girls were captured by Boko Haram in Dapchi, Yobe State.

The president is expected to meet parents of the abducted students. "When the Dapchi Girls were kidnapped, the same President Buhari carried on as usual and went to Kano to go and dance and socialize at a Society Wedding!" "I can reassure parents, Nigerians and the International Community that we will do all that is within our power to make sure that the girls are brought back safely to their families".

President Buhari said he will soon inaugurate a National Food Security Council which he would personally chair.

The United States, US-based Pastor said more security agents guarded Buhari's son, Yusuf while he was in a hospital than those attached to the school the girls were abducted from. "How terribly embarrassing it is that within four years since the abduction of 276 Chibok girls in April 2014 our country is again in the news for tragic reasons", the group said in a statement. We'll use our military might to crush them and provide a lasting peace in the country.

"Boko Haram was in control of many local councils in Borno and some parts of Yobe State before we came". Buhari has not said if he will seek a second term.

He, however, expressed the hope that both the Chibok and Dapchi schoolgirls would return home peacefully. "Be assured that measures are being put in place to achieve these objectives".
