Microsoft stopped short of providing specifics on games it'll be showcasing, although we can perhaps expect a new Halo and/or Gears of War, and hopefully a whole bunch of surprises.

The official Xbox website today told fans to ready for its "biggest presence ever" at the show which runs from 12th - 15th June 2018. The reason for the switch to demos at the Microsoft Theater is to ensure more people can try new games than ever before.

In addition to the E3 2018 Xbox Briefing, the Microsoft Theatre will also welcome Xbox FanFest opportunities, hands-on gameplay, and demos for all E3 attendees.

The annual Xbox E3 Briefing will now take place at the Microsoft Theater at LA Live, which will act as a central hub for other Xbox events during the week.

Big changes for minor league baseball - including in Salem
In the minor leagues, with developing pitchers on pitch counts and inning limitations, extra-inning games can tax a team's roster. For scoring purposes, the runner will be treated as though he reached second base via error (though no error will be awarded).

United Kingdom government considers phasing out 1p and 2p coins and £50 notes
The Royal Mint needs to produce more than 500 million 1p and 2p coins each year to replace those that fall out of circulation. The document also notes that people associate the £50 note with money laundering, tax evasion, and criminal activity.

Additionally, the company will have a new Mixer booth on the show floor at the Los Angeles Convention Center, where fans will be able to play and stream new games throughout the entirety of the show.

In 2017, however, E3 opened its doors to members of the public, and Xbox sees "an opportunity to create an entirely new show experience" for those present and following online, according to a March 14 announcement. Console manufacturer Xbox will host its 2018 Electronic Entertainment Expo briefing at 1pm on June 10. Keep an eye on the Xbox Wire for updates in April.

Of course, Microsoft can't not hype their E3 showing, right? With its new avatars, Microsoft is also making an effort on the diversity front, with the feature's trailer showing off an amputee and an avatar in a wheelchair.

As of now, there's no telling what kind of surprises Microsoft has up its sleeves in terms of major reveals at E3 2018, as this will be the company's time to shine with gaming fans both in Los Angeles and those tuning in around the world.
