On Tuesday, Congress leaders Arvinder Singh Lovely and Subash Chopra led by Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee chief Ajay Maken went to the residence of chief minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Sisodia said another such meeting would be called and BJP would be invited again. "After this affidavit the Supreme Court expressed its concern over the intentions of Delhi Government and revived its Monitoring Committee to curb the growing menace of unauthorized construction, " he said. They want to finish off traders so as to bring in FDI, " he said.

Later, Delhi Police said that Jain, who was present at the time of the incident, said that he saw two Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLAs assaulting the Chief Secretary.

AAP and the government were represented by Kejriwal, deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, urban development minister Satyendar Jain, Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Singh, AAP's Delhi convener Gopal Rai and MLA Somnath Bharti.

The sealing drive - being carried out by the three BJP-led city municipal corporations under the guidance of the Monitoring Committee - has been launched against the business establishments using residential properties for commercial purposes and the ones which have not paid conversion charges. More than half a dozen policemen were deployed additionally apart from the regular security deployment outside the CM's residence for the meeting.

In solidarity to Prakash, IAS and Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services (DCS) officers have stopped attending meetings with AAP ministers, only maintaining written communication with them.
