With the official start of free agency on the horizon this week, Von Miller has Kirk Cousins high on his wish list, viewing the quarterback as a great potential addition to the Denver Broncos.

According to NFL.com, at least two teams are prepared to offer Cousins a fully guaranteed three-year contract.

After six seasons with Washington, quarterback Kirk Cousins said goodbye in a blog post Monday.

Cousins wrote about his roots in the D.C. area and what leaving will mean to him. Case Keenum, who previously played for Gary Kubiak in Houston, is No. 2 on many teams' lists.

It's exceedingly rare for an elite QB to move teams as a free agent, especially in the prime of their careers, but such a move would give them more leverage in contract negotiations.

"We are opening up our home to allow a behind the scenes look into what really transpires before the contract number scrolls across the bottom line of ESPN", Cousins said Monday night.

Southwest 737 diverts to Albuquerque after 'unusual smell' in cabin
A Dallas Police officer aboard the flight tweeted that Dallas-based Southwest's flight attendants 'did a great job!' An initial investigation indicated an electrical fire on board, according to an airport spokesperson.

He said he'd be forever grateful to former coach Mike Shanahan for drafting him, three rounds after they selected quarterback Robert Griffin III with the second overall pick.

Cousins himself seems to be relishing the opportunity, not only to get paid, but to choose where he will play his football for the foreseeable future.

This makes McCarron a very interesting name to me.

If the Broncos want to go from 5-11 thanks to a awful eight-game losing streak in 2017 to 10-6 and a playoff spot in 2018, they must sign one of two quarterbacks from the free agent market.

Blaine Gabbert, Drew Stanton and Matt Barkley are the lone quarterbacks on the roster of the Cardinals, who finished with an 8-8 mark last season.

I'm not certain that Cousins brings Minnesota a lot closer to a Super Bowl championship, but he at least doesn't push them further away from one. But this also could be Cousins having some fun with all of us in his first time enjoying freedom after being franchise tagged the past two years. The coveted quarterback is expected to make visits during free agency, which is good news for Denver.
