Michael Carrick Confirms Retirement, Likely to Join Jose Mourinho's Coaching Staff

Carrick, who is a former England worldwide, joined the Red Devils from Tottenham in 2006 when United's retired veteran manager, Sir Alex Ferguson convinced him to swapped White Hart Lane for the Old Trafford.

He also helped United win the UEFA Champions League (2008), FIFA Club World Cup (2008) and the UEFA Europa League (2017).
