Cleveland Browns: Will free agency bring more excitement?

Saquon Barkley to Cleveland seems like a done deal after a couple moves the Browns made Friday night. The Browns acquired Jarvis Landry from the Dolphins, Tyrod Taylor from the Bills, and sent DeShone Kizer to the Packers in exchange for Demarious Randall.

But the bottom dwellers of the National Football League addressed one issue Friday by trading the 65th overall pick for Buffalo Bills quarterback Tyrod Taylor.

Saturday brought another trade for Cleveland that took fans by surprise.

And for the crowd saying the Browns still need to draft a quarterback first overall: Dorsey is so meticulous at finding the right quarterback that he surrendered two first rounders so the Kansas City Chiefs could trade up and get Patrick Mahomes past year.

As numerous reports have stated in the aftermath of these big trades, Cleveland is still in the market to draft a quarterback in the upcoming draft.

In a sense, the addition of Taylor over a player like Cincinnati's AJ McCarron shows the Browns believe in the players available in the draft.

No matter what you think about the idea of taking a running back No. 1 overall, the Browns still need to add a young quarterback.

The main reason the Browns got worse instead of better is because Haslam did not follow his own plan. The Browns will benefit from having far more cap space than any team in the NFL.

Kansas City Chiefs prepared to release Tamba Hali
The Chiefs' youth movement continued Monday, as they released outside linebacker Tamba Hali, a source confirmed to The Star. Hali's release was expected given lack of on-field production in 2017 and the cost of keeping him on the roster.

DGCA grounds 11 Airbus planes of IndiGo, GoAir
Clarifying its position, Pratt & Whitney in a statement said: "We are working closely with our customers to minimize disruption". With this, all the A320neo aircraft with PW1100 engines beyond serial number 450 have been taken off operation in India.

Bills reportedly trade OT Glenn to Bengals
In the spring of 2016, Glenn signed a $65 million contract extension with Buffalo that the Bengals will now take on. A year ago he recorded 67 tackles, two fumble recoveries, four passes defended and two interceptions.

Here are the Bills' picks, including two in the first round after moving back in a deal with Kansas in the 2017 draft to take Patrick Mahomes. Taylor isn't winning you any playoff games, but there are quarterbacks in this draft who will. "Our structure and our coaching staff, we need to make sure we maximize that, but we also need to learn from the other parts of the offense that we didn't do as good as we would have liked, and we'll learn from that platform".

Kizer was going to have to earn a spot with the Browns, and he'll be in a similar situation with the Packers, who were forced to start Brett Hundley nine games last season after Rodgers broke his collarbone.

But the question still remains, is Cleveland done yet?

As he did three years ago, expect Maccagnan to hit free agency with an eagerness to spend where he sees fit. In Cleveland, he'll get not only a fresh start, but likely a new position.

Who else is out there? While the trades may die down, the Browns could still wind up making a splash in free agency when it kicks off on Thursday, Mar. 14 at 4:00 p.m. EST. He's also owed a $6 million roster bonus on the third day of the new league year.

Dorsey has made his intentions clear in Cleveland. "We are going to build through the draft".

It was the Browns turn to say, "Go Danny!"

The Jets have targets in mind, and they hope to find players who can stick with their team for several years.
