Apple has made life easy for the those bike lovers, who don't have their own bikes but want to have some adventure with bike-riding. The update comes as Apple has struck a deal with data company Ito World.

The list of supported bike services in each city isn't comprehensive, but Apple may add more in the future.

Apple has today incorporated a new global bike share data feed into Apple Maps, showing the location of bikes and docking stations for bike share schemes around the world. For instance, the two shared bikes I see most in my San Francisco neighborhood are Ford Go Bikes and Jump bikes, but Apple Maps lists only Ford Go Bike locations. The feature is now live and helps you find the nearest station by typing "bike sharing" in the search bar or the name of the service.

Apple Maps doesn't tell you the number of available bikes or empty docks. So this feature won't replace more sophisticated apps for local users. You can start searching for bike-sharing services on Apple Maps right now. It supports Citi Bike in New York City, Ford GoBike in San Francisco, BIKETOWN in Portland, BIXI in Montreal, Santander Cycles in London, CityCycle in Brisbane, bicing in Barcelona, as well as nextbike in Germany, Croatia, Austria, Switzerland and the United Kingdom and many others. The app now also supports airport and mall maps etc. Well we are positive that sooner or latter Apple will integrate this app in Pakistan to facilitate our nation.
