Asuka vs Charlotte Flair is one of the marquee matches in today's women's wrestling and overall in the entire WWE as well.

The road to Wrestlemania 34 became more clear with WWE Fastlane in Columbus, Ohio on Sunday (Monday morning in India). Charlotte Flair was in action defending the SmackDown Live Women's Championship against Ruby Riott. Tonight's tag match of Becky Lynch and Naomi vs. Natalya and Carmella might indicate some sort of number one contender, but the only ace in the hole in the Smackdown Women's division is Carmella's Money in the Bank contract.

There will obviously be a few more matches added to the card, including the RAW Women's Championship. However, the match is interrupted by "The Bludgeon Brothers (Eric Rowan and Luke Harper)' and it results in a 'No Contest".

The 37-year-old dominated the match against Roode, who had won the title in January after defeating India's Jinder Mahal.

Shinsuke Nakamura defeated Rusev: Shinsuke Nakamura, the Royal Rumble victor, was involved in a non-title match at WWE Fastlane.

AJ Styles retained his WWE championship against John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Sami Zayn, Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens in a six-pack challenge.

The biggest focus of this year's Fastlane (now exclusive to the SmackDown Live brand after they traded events following WrestleMania 33) is the gargantuan six-pack challenge for AJ Styles's WWE Championship. As much as I would like to say yes I do actually think we will see Cena win after several false finishes unless The Undertaker shows up.

That said, it's a positive predictable, with AJ Styles emerging victorious from the night's best match and retaining the WWE Championship vs. a slew of other superstars. It wouldn't be shocking to see those belts change hands prior to WrestleMania 34.

Owens had an opportunity to end the match when he hit his finishing move on Zallinger but SmackDown commissioner Shane McMahon interrupted to prevent the result.

Randy Orton joined Chris Jericho as the only WWE Superstars to achieve the WWE Grand Slam Championship with the USA title as the final accomplishment. The Smackdown exclusive show has such little bearing on WrestleMania or really any developments going forward, it's nearly not worth watching.but I will.for I am a sucker.

Cena had started the match on a high by performing Attitude Adjustments on his opponents on the ring. Thankfully, WrestleMania 34 is not about Cena. He comes in attacks, Ziggler, Corbin, Zayn and Owens.
