The company has spent about ₹100 crore in developing the Ntorq 125 and creating capacity at the plant. Its styling, as per TVS, has been inspired by stealth aircrafts and while it cuts a familiar silhouette, it does feature some striking details. KN Radhakrishnan, President and Chief Executive Officer, said the company was targeting to sell about two lakh units of the new scooter as it believed that Ntorq's aspirational design and features would attract young buyers.

Making its debut on the new scooter, the TVS's advanced "SmartXonnect" technology platform makes the Ntoq 125 India's first scooter with Bluetooth connectivity.
