Genie Bouchard and Twitter date get Super invitation

Football brings people together.

For those who don't know, Goehrke - a 21-year-old marketing student - won a date with Bouchard after she predicted Atlanta Falcons would win the Super Bowl final last year.

When the Atlanta Falcons jumped to a sizable Super Bowl LI lead, Bouchard tweeted that she "knew Atlanta would win". On Monday, NFL Canada asked Bouchard if she and the same gentleman would like to attend Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis.

And of course, they both responded.

As it turned out, New England Patriots staged a miraculous comeback to emerge victorious. Everything comes full circle.

With Bouchard losing in the second round of the Australian Open last week, this Super Bowl date is the ideal thing to take her mind off of that.
