Since the announcement of Disney's purchase of 21st Century Fox's entertainment assets there have been questions as to how the Fox properties would fit in with Disney. Ryan Reynolds has reportedly been signed on to star in and produce cult classic Clue.

The first project that the studio will work on outside of Reynolds' "Deadpool" series will be a remake of the 1985 comedy "Clue", based on the Parker Brothers board game.

It's noted the three-year deal keeps Ryan Reynolds in the Fox fold well into the merger with Disney that is expected to take 12 to 18 months.

The deal with Maximum Effort is huge for Fox.
