Minnesota Vikings at Philadelphia Eagles: Who will win the NFC Championship?

The lights at Lincoln Financial Field will be even brighter Sunday, when he'll be pitted against Vikings quarterback Case Keenum, his friend and former teammate, in a game that will determine the NFC's representative in Super Bowl LII.

The Vikings and Eagles have met 26 times throughout each team's history with both winning 13 games; however, in the postseason the Eagles have had Minnesota's number posting a ideal 3-0 record all time. Including the playoffs, Keenum, Foles and Jared Goff combined to go 25-8 this season. As he runs in, time expires and the Vikings win in what was the first ever "walk off" in National Football League playoff history.

Make no mistake. The Minnesota Vikings aren't supposed to be here. The Eagles held off a late Falcons drive to win 15-10, while the Vikings needed a walk off Stefon Diggs touchdown to overcome a late comeback by the New Orleans Saints. He was the guy you called on when there was no one else.

But, hey, congratulations, Minnesota.

They are now a game away from hosting the Super Bowl at their U.S. Bank Stadium home but first must overcome the top-seed Eagles in a battle between two elite defenses. "Big V had challenges all season".

Foles signed with the Eagles before the 2017 season to be a backup to starter Carson Wentz. The last one was in 2008 when the Eagles beat the Vikings in Minnesota 14-26 in the wildcard round.

Conference title games played for Keenum, Foles and Bortles: Zero heading into Sunday.

Nick Foles went searching for clarity, for guidance and for direction, but in time, he found the answer resided within him all along. He has elite weapons in Alshon Jeffery and Zach Ertz and OK weapons in Nelson Agholor and Torrey Smith. The two quarterbacks in that game were Donovan McNabb for the Eagles and Tarvaris Jackson for the Vikings. The great thing about Jeffery is even if Rhodes cover is flawless, it might not matter.

The play been replayed a few times over the last week. McNabb led the Eagles in that win, while Daunte Culpepper was the Vikings' starting quarterback.

"She said, 'Boy, those vikings better hurry up". I have said it many times, this team is very talented, and they do not take any team lightly. "While I wanted an all-Pennsylvania Super Bowl, I am proud of the Eagles and look forward to cheering them on this weekend". Still, it's too good to share. Yeah, right now I don't think the final play was some grand conspiracy to get the Vikes into the NFC Championship, but if someone wants to try and convince me otherwise, I'm here for it. Keenum wears No. 7. Fresh off a 23-for-30 performance in Saturday's win over Atlanta, Foles knows the offense has to be productive against the NFL's No. 1-ranked Minnesota defense. Here's why Minnesota worries me. But how soon we forget what Jim Schwartz's defense did to that 5-0 Vikings team that was coming off a bye. Many of Keenum's passes that worked last week were just bad decisions that turned out OK.
