Fortnite Battle Royale Update Adds Cozy Campfire and ShadowPlay

Epic Games has released a patch 2.1.0 for Fortnite on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC which aims to fix various bugs within the game along with adding a cosy campfire which can heal you and your teammates. Developer Epic is also continually updating the game to better serve the players, despite being a free game. It will act as a trap but will instead healing players instead of causing harm. The most noticeable issue plaguing players was a glitch that would cause them to drop through their recently built or edited creations, which should be fixed with the Cozy Campfire patch. The item will have Blue rarity, can be found anywhere and will heal 2 HP per second. Well, you might have noticed that the item is stored in your inventory as a trap, not a standard item. Building floors generally work, but to eliminate any possibility of it not deploying (and you getting shot in the process), be sure to lay a section of flooring on the ground using any material, then deploy the Cozy Campfire on top. We will continue to monitor and iterate on this item's functionality. Highlights is available to anyone with a GeForce GTX 650 graphics card or higher. Moreover, the weapon's rarity has been changed to blue/rare to "more accurately represent its true rarity".

The new "Fortnite" update also fixes some problems with gameplay, heroes and missions in Save the World. "We've patched up a number of issues across Battle Royale and Save the World and made a number of quality of life improvements in this patch". The Daily Challenge descriptions have also been shortened since they tend to run off the screen when users are playing the game in different languages.

Fixed a rare Battle Royale server crash.

The latest patch release version v.2.1.0 is the first release for the new year, bringing bug fixes and patches.

As is the usual, the patch makes adjustments in both Fortnite's original Save the World mode as well as the popular Battle Royale mode.

There are plenty of customization options that will allow players to adjust ShadowPlay to their playstyle.
