Why JJ Redick questions existence of dinosaurs

Irving joined J.J. Redick on his Ringer podcast in a late-night recording session after the two played in the NBA's London showcase on Thursday.

Irving laughed when he was asked a question about the Earth being flat, but not surprisingly, he stuck to his guns and said that he wasn't going to readily admit that his flat Earth theory may have been wrong. It's really about just everyone just believing what they want to believe and feeling comfortable with it.

Redick, of course, questioned Irving on why he believes the Earth is flat and the convo lead him to bring up something he has always questioned as well and it pertained to dinosaurs and how he was "not entirely convinced" that they roamed the earth. I'm not a scientist. But Irving himself initially got his information from a social media application, which immediately calls into question his "independent research" methods. I didn't do as much research as I had [to do] in order to say something like that, because I was just ready to blurt it out, like: 'Flat earth, man. But there is growing concern about the recent prevalence of such unscientific conspiracy theories. And if you think about the actual intent behind it was: "Do your own research".

"I wasn't trying to convince everyone the world is flat, and that's just how everyone took it as, which is fine", Irving said.

No matter what Kyrie Irving and B.o.B might try to tell you, the Earth is not flat. "I just want it to be just done with". You know what I mean? His main reasoning for touting this theory at all was because he said he wanted to challenge people to think for themselves and to not just accept information that people feed to you. I'm not here to tell everyone this is it.
