Theatrical Release Date Confirmed

Pictures officially confirmed this week that the release date for the Shazam movie is now set for April 5, 2019 release. That might not even be enough for Warner break even. Currently, there's no strong competition for "Shazam!" in that month with Paramount's "Pet Sematary" set to open a week after the DC movie.

The film starring Zachary Levi (Chuck) as Captain Marvel is going to be released on April 5, 2019.

DC also took a film release date off its calendar - removing July 27 of this year, which it had previously carved out for a not-officially-identified release.
