Sanchez is reportedly a target for arch rivals Manchester City and Manchester United and could even leave this month.

Manchester United have received encouragement in their late pursuit of Alexis Sanchez after Manchester City decide to walk away from the forward.

Arsenal have immediate question marks over the future of Sanchez, Ozil and Wilshere due to their contract situations, but they may have to deal with similar issues in 12 months' time.

The BBC reported in September that City and Arsenal reached a conditional agreement for Sanchez, but the deal fell through after Monaco winger Thomas Lemar decided against a move to Arsenal.

It is understood Arsenal are demanding £35m for the Chile global, while agents are likely to receive another £5m on top, totalling a £40m deal before the player's potential wages are taken into account.

City remain favourites to land Sanchez, but Sane, 22, says he feels only more motivated by speculation linking Arsenal's Chilean forward with a move to the Etihad.

Some other lawmakers who have been engaged in the negotiations were also optimistic; others said no deal had yet been reached. The program protects almost 800,000 undocumented young people, or "dreamers", who came to America as children.

While Sanchez did have a deal to join Manchester City and reunite with old Barcelona boss Pep Guardiola in the summer, things fell apart after a replacement couldn't be found.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger gave an update on the 29-year-old's status in a news conference Friday. Maybe. As we all know, every single one of Manchester United's 16.8 million Twitter followers either plays for the club or knows somebody who does. "But of course for Sunday I think he will be short", Wenger said.

"I don't know ethical or correct, the word we can find to be speaking about players of other clubs, if somebody speaks of one of my players to say we are interested, I wouldn't be very very happy".

"In relation to Sanchez all I can say, which everyone else says, is that he is a phenomenal player".

"I want to be focused on what we have to do on the field".

"I would not like my players, when they see me on TV or read the newspapers, (to hear) the manager talking about another (player) and thinking they are not important". There is always a way to find a balance.
