Arda joins Basaksehir on loan until June 2020

Barcelona have loaned former Turkey global Arda Turan to Istanbul Basaksehir for the rest of this season and two more, the Liga leaders said in a statement on Saturday.

Basaksehir are top of the Turkish Super Lig, one point ahead of Galatasaray.

And Barca announced that the 30-year-old will make the move on loan for the remainder of his contract. Basaksehir's buy-out options remained unspecified.

Turkey global Turan moved to the Camp Nou from Atletico Madrid in the summer of 2015, but Barca's transfer embargo meant he was prevented from registering for the club until January 1, 2016.
