E3 was home to the surprise announcement of a full remaster of the legendary Shadow of the Colossus and today, during the Paris Games Week PlayStation media showcase, we've come another step closer to its release.

In the first video above, our hero Wander faces off against the first colossus.

Something of a cult classic, Shadow Of The Colossus has provided inspiration for game designers all over the world in the years since its release; Nintendo's The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild had more than a hint of its gloomy spirit. Sony also launched a gameplay trailer at Paris Games Week featuring Wander's battle with the thirteenth colossus, named Phalanx.
