Five of family killed in Delhi's Mansarovar Park, reason not yet known

Four women members of a family, along with a security guard, were found murdered in East Delhi's Mansarovar Park on Saturday, said news reports.

The bodies of Urmila Jindal (65) and her three daughters Sangeeta Gupta (56), Nupur Jindal (48) and Anjali Jindal (38) were found with their neck slit at their residence at about 7.20 am. He said, "Crime scene indicates friendly entry, can not say the motive behind the murders now".

A sharp weapon has been recovered from the spot and is believed to be used in the crime. The deceased include four women and a security guard.

Preliminary investigation showed there was "no forced entry" into the house and no valuables were stolen, a police officer said. The police officials present at the spot said that the incident came to light when a call was made to the police at 7:15 AM.
